Armagnac

Armagnac, a spirit of tradition Armagnac is a brandy resulting from the traditional distillation of white wine from the Bordeaux area. All Armagnac age in oak casks made of Limousin or Monlezun black oak woods. The ageing process allows tannic and aromatic substances in the oak to dissolve in the alcohol. The alcohol content decreases and the color changes during ageing process. The minimum alcohol content is 40%. Once the Armagnac is bottled it stops ageing. Each Armagnac is presented in a wooden box with a sliding lid. The armagnac comes in two sizes :70 of 35 cl (depending on the year).
